Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity this Monday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) compared media coverage of his widely-bashed trip to Cancun while his home state froze in the grips of a ferocious winter storm to its coverage of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, suggesting that they targeted him while covering up for Cuomo.
“Where’s the proportionality from the mob and the media?” Hannity asked Cruz.
“I think the media is suffering from Trump withdrawal, where they’ve attacked Trump every day for four years, they don’t know what to do, so they obsessed over my taking my girls to the beach,” Cruz responded.
