The cover photo for Trump’s new Twitter account was from Obama’s 2009 inauguration

On the same day he was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump made his new Twitter account official.

@POTUS likely won’t be the dumpster fire that was Trump’s original account — although he was still tweeting from it up until about 3 hours of this writing — but Slate‘s Forrest Whickman noticed something interesting about the initial cover photo that went up.

A quick Google image search shows that the photo is from a series of images taken during Barack Obama‘s 2009 inauguration.

The photo has been swapped out a few times since then, with the current one showing Trump gazing wistfully out a White House window.

It’s gonna be a long 4 years.
