This barber will publicly shame your misbehaving kid with an ‘old man haircut’

“So you wanna act grown? Well now you look grown, too.”

That’s the new promotional scheme from the owner of A-1 Kutz in Atlanta, “Master Barber” Russell Fredrick. Whenever your misbehaving children are getting out of hand, you can bring them in for his “Benjamin Buttons Special,” for an “old man haircut.”

Oh, and it’s free of charge.

Three days a week, parents can take their misbehaving kids to A-1 Kutz and ask for the “Benjamin Button Special,” which Russell Fredrick and his team of barbers are offering — free of charge — to parents who want to try a novel form of discipline.

The cut involves shaving hair off the child’s crown until he begins to resemble a balding senior citizen, inviting that unique brand of adolescent humiliation that can only come from teasing classmates and unwanted attention.

Fredrick claims that after applying the “treatment” to his own son, the boy’s grades have “dramatically skyrocketed.”

Note to the Master Barber: humiliating your children might get some good short term results, but who knows how this will manifest itself later in life. Just some food for thought.
