This Japanese giant salamander walking on a sidewalk is the creepiest thing you’ll see EVER

Okay, um…this thing is creepy. This is one of those creatures that haunt your dreams. The creepiness is inexplicable; that long slimy body, the thick unidentifiable face, those beady eyes, the weird undulating contractions of its body as it breathes and lifts its head…

It shouldn’t be real, but it is. From Wikipedia:

The Japanese giant salamander (Andrias japonicus) is endemic to Japan, where it is known asŌsanshōuo literally meaning “giant pepper fish.” With a length of up to almost 1.5 m (5 ft),[2] it is the second-largest salamander in the world, only being surpassed by the very similar and closely related Chinese giant salamander.

Lucky for us, some fellow took a video of the thing taking a stroll along the sidewalk.
