In a somewhat hostile exchange on Newsmax this Thursday, Donald Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt slammed newly-announced 2024 candidate Ron DeSantis’ “botched” Twitter stream, adding that the Florida Governor is “not ready for primetime.”
In his response, Newsweek senior editor and talk show host Josh Hammer said Leavitt’s talking points might be “cute,” but Republican voters are “sick of losing” and “relitigating an election from two-and-a-half years ago.”
“They are sick of Stormy Daniels and all of the crap…” Hammer said before Leavitt spoke over him.
“You sound like a Democrat,” Leavitt told Hammer.
