Trump turns against ‘Fox & Friends’: They’ve gone to the ‘dark side’

Former President Donald Trump is souring on what used to be his favorite cable news network, and is now lashing out at the popular Fox News show Fox & Friends, accusing the show’s host of inefficient loyalty.

“@foxandfriends just really botched my poll numbers, no doubt on purpose,” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social social network platform. “That show has been terrible — gone to the ‘dark side.’ They quickly quote the big Turning Point Poll victory of almost 60 points over the number two Republican, and then hammer me with outliers.”

Trump was referring to a new poll from the conservative group Turning Point USA that showed him well ahead of every other potential Republican primary challenger.

Trump then referenced referenced “RINO Paul Ryan,” whom he called “one of the weakest and worst Speakers EVER,” and suggested the former congressman “must be running the place.”

As The Hill pojnts out, Trump’s criticism comes after Murdoch-owned newspapers like the New York Post and Wall Street Journal have ramped up their criticism of him, saying his refusal to quell the Jan. 6 Capitol riot is proof that he does not deserve another term as president.
