Trump’s spiritual adviser has a plan to end coronavirus and it involves A LOT of praying

Texas megachurch Pastor Robert Jeffress is calling for people to join him in a 40-day prayer campaign to end the coronavirus outbreak.

Calling it the “4:01 Challenge,” Jeffress wants people to pray at 4:01 p.m. every day for the next 40 days, starting on Thursday, which also happens to be the 69th annual National Day of Prayer.

“The most powerful thing you and I can do to bring an end to the coronavirus pandemic — and its devastating effects — is to ask for God’s miraculous intervention in our country,” Jeffress wrote on his website.

Jeffress says the idea was inspired by his daughter, who asked him why more Christians aren’t praying against the coronavirus.

Jeffress’ church, First Baptist Dallas, will be reopening for in-person services on May 31.
