Trump’s ‘spiritual adviser’ Paula White: ‘Thank God’ Trump called for a national day of prayer in response to coronavirus

As “spiritual adviser” to President Donald Trump, Paula White has talked about her trip to heaven and has advised the faithful to donate money to her church instead of paying their electric bills, because doing otherwise means they are “treating the electric company better than they are God.”

But recently, White, who’s the senior pastor at New Destiny Christian Center in Orlando, Florida, commended Trump for his “immediate” action on the coronavirus outbreak, lauding him for “calling the nation to prayer.”

“When the Lord called me to this specific assignment upon my life … of doing stuff like calling the nation to prayer, of helping advise our president on the condition of the church, and immediately — as I was advising him, he immediately said we need to call the nation to prayer,” she said to an applauding audience. “Thank God for a leader who understands that.”
