Twitter is slamming our favorite Trump spokeswoman with #KatrinaPiersonHistory

After Donald Trump‘s spokesperson blamed the 2004 death of Capt. Humayun Khan on Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Twitter had a field day attributing everything that has ever gone wrong in the world to our current President.

Katrina Pierson floated the wild theory on CNN‘s Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday that Khan “probably” died because Obama and Clinton damaged the military’s ability to fight by changing the rules of engagement, despite Clinton was serving in the senator and Obama wasn’t even a senator during the time.

Attempting to change the subject during a CNN grilling on Trump’s attacks on the Khan family, Pierson said that the Army Captain’s life could have been prevented if Obama and Hillary “hadn’t changed the rules of engagement that probably cost his life.”

But there’s one problem: Khan died in 2004, which is five years before Obama even took office. After Blitzer ran a fact-check on air, Twitter users coined a new hashtag and the rest was history.
