VIDEO: Dominoes Pizza manager FLIPS OUT on a customer: ‘Go f*ck yourself!’

In a video posted to LiveLeak this weekend, a female customer, who is being filmed by her daughter, can be seen complaining to a Dominoes Pizza manager about his rude behavior to her daughter’s boyfriend.

When the woman repeatedly asked to see the manager’s supervisor, things got a little ugly.

“My supervisor’s name is ‘Go F*ck Yourself.’ Get the f*ck out of here, you f*cking retard,” the manager replies.

“Excuse me, I’m not the one in a pizza sauce — pizza outfit when I’m 40 years-old,” the woman shot back.

OUCH.

According to a report from WNEM TV5, the incident began when Eric Promenchenkel received a pizza with “light sauce” instead of “white sauce.” When he called the Domino’s store to complain, he was hung up on by a manager — twice. Coming to save the day, his girlfriend’s mom (the woman in the video) went to the store to give the manager a piece of her mind.

As a result of the incident, the manager was fired.

“I regret the language I used,” the manager said. “But if people could see everything that happened, especially in the phone calls, they would not be sympathetic for this woman.”

Domino’s Corporation put out a statement in response to the incident:

“We are aware of the situation and have forwarded this to the local franchise owner. The comments made by this person do not reflect those of Domino’s Pizza. We apologize for how poorly this reflects on our local stores and we assure you corrective action will be taken as the franchise owner determines.”

    Mr. Masters: you seem to be as obnoxious and misogynistic as the lout in the video. A family pizzeria or any sensibly run restaurant would not have hung up on a customer twice. At a minimum, they would have replaced or refunded the order they incorrectly filled. It’s stupid to be rude to customers and good feelings and referrals are worth much more than one cruddy pizza.

    Like the jerk shown, you seem incapable of expressing yourself without puerile vulgarity. Do mommy and daddy know you are using the computer?

    C’mon… “Dominoes” with an “E”… Really? And it’s repeated? That’s ridiculous. It’s like Dan Quayle wrote this. Please learn simple rules of grammar: “Dominos”.

    Ha.. Agreed. Corporations strip individuals of human dignity. Why did the stupid cow show up with camera rolling? When I was younger, I would not have responded very well to this self-righteous bitch showing up. Her Pizza ingredients are far more important than anything else.

    Pathetic bitch. Who does she think she is, if they cannot order the food as it is written on the menu under their stupid nose then they can go hungry. Sick of rude customers, who all think themselves better than everyone else, what a hole cannot even cook a pizza for her family, she’s a failure as a mother.

    When you are an employee, on duty and you use bad language, you are in the wrong no matter what! I’m not saying that I wouldn’t have told her to go F herself, but I would have handed her my smock and told her where to put it, and walk out with my head held high! I wouldn’t wait around to be fired!

    Honestly, it costs Dominos about a buck to make a pizza if that. Tell her you’re sorry that her pizza came out wrong, make her a new pizza, give her a coupon, and send her on her way. What’s the difference if you make her a new pizza or make a pizza for a new call that comes in. It’s the same amount of work. Now, if you want to write “Go F*ck Yourself” on the inside of the pizza box, that’s a classy way to go.

    Manager is completely in the wrong here regardless of what might have transpired. No matter how stuck up or bitchy and whiney the customer is the order was wrong, fix it.

    Someone might be allergic to tomatoes. They could have caused a death. That one of the main reasons people order the white pizzas. The manager needs his ass kicked.

    I always get the wrong pizzas when I order from there….unfortunately its the only pizza place around that delivers….but they always replace my pizza free of charge and let me keep the other ones….so I can’t complain…their pizza taste like crap though lol

    Are you kidding? There was no need for this manager to talk like that to a customer. My family will never ever eat another Domino’s pizza. While I blame the manager and the franchise owner, I also hold the company responsible for a less than heartfelt apology. No, Domino’s should sanction the franchise owner.

    By “when I was younger”, did you mean twelve instead of thirteen? You have clearly never worked in a service business; probably never worked anywhere. I’ve got news for you. Small businesses strip people of their dignity as well. All it takes is to have a jerk for an owner or manager, which is what you most likely will end up being, provided you make it past burger flipper.

    If you don’t like their pizza, why order it? Just because they are the only ones who deliver? SO you would rather eat food that you think is nasty, than just go to the store and buy ingredients to make your own? Many times, that would actually cost less.
    Also, if they got your order wrong, why would you keep the order? I used to work at Pizza Hut and customers pulled this scam all the time. They would eat the order we brought, and then call and complain that it was wrong, just to get a free pizza.
    It might only cost a dollar to make that pizza, but delivery drivers do not get paid to re-deliver it, and it puts them behind on other deliveries, which affect their gas and possible tips. Also, it backs up the cooks who are trying to get other people’s orders out to them,

    Fired? Does anyone know what happened to this guy throughout the day which lead to this confrontation. Was he pissed because his kid just dropped out of college with $20,000 in debt? Did he just find out his daughter was pregnant? Did he just learn his wife was diagnosed with lung cancer? Did he just find out his cousin died in a drive by shooting? Who the fuck cares? Nobody! Let just film the 40 year old HS drop out trying to make a living from a $8.50/hour job at a possibly vulnerable point in his life. Lets make sure we humiliate him with our bulbus investopedic pork sausage fingers on you youtube. You are cattle, please eat your 20lbs.     You’re assuming that you know how the phone call went and that innocent little customer called and was polite and the big old meanie head hung up. I doubt it. For all you know the customer called with an attitude and threw a fit on this guy. They mess up orders all the time, especially when it’s busy, and they nearly always offer to fix them if you call, explain the problem nicely and ask like you’re talking to a human being with a job and not barking orders at someone you feel is beneath you. Without hearing the phone conversation, don’t be so quick to call him a “jerk”.

    Like Dan Quayle you are wrong. Potato singular ends with an “o”, plural with “es” same is true with domino-dominoes. Check your facts before correcting someone who is already correct.

    As someone who works in the food business, I can say I sympathize with the manager to some degree. The vulgarity wasn’t needed, but then again, I don’t know what led up to this. All I can say is that if she orders it wrong, it is not his fault, and he is just loosing money if he gives in to everyone’s demands when, “they ordered something wrong.” The customer is always right has its limitations you know.

    She’s an entitled bitch who deserves what happened and more. You don’t get to come into someone’s workplace, treat them like a peasant, and then expect to be told that you are just generally better than anyone else on the planet.

    The phrase, “The customer is always right,” is only ever used by people who are trying to get something for free. They way she was acting, there’s a good probability that she and/or her son ordered exactly what was delivered but it’s not what they actually wanted so they just decided to scream at the tops of their lungs to cover up their incompetence.

    That being stated, there were much funnier ways he could have told her to smeg off, although he was pretty damned funny either way.

    Apparently you have never ordered from their website. One of the options when “building your pizza” (their terminology) is the substitution of white sauce for marinara sauce.

    I’m sorry you’ve had rude customers that left you feeling like you have to jump to conclusions about this situation. I too, have had rude clients who not only complained to my manager, but also got my services for free because of that complaint. It sucks, but being an adult and working in the service industry means you don’t have the option of being rude back to these people. Professionalism is key in retaining customers.

    The order was wrong because the customer ordered wrong. The customer is not always right as proven by the customer’s tone and insult regarding manager’s position.

    Take it easy. It really isn’t Domino’s fault each franchise is owned by an individual and this douchebag worked for that person. He got what he deserved and I can almost guarantee that the woman got a ton of coupons from corporate.

    How can anyone defend the Dominos employee? Other than your average American cretin. The guy used derogatory terms like “retard” and dropped the f-bomb without provocation. The customer did get off the best line though; “You’re forty years old, wearing a Dominos uniform, making pizzas, and I”M the “retard?”

    I work for commission, so perhaps it is different, but if I were EVER to speak to my customers like he did, no matter how wrong the customer was, I would expect to lose my job. Anyone saying anything different either has never worked in the service industry, or has never had a job.
