If you’re anywhere between the ages of 35 and 45 years-old, there’s a good chance that you’ll have a deep connection to Harrison Ford.
Ford, 71, has played two of the most powerful and identifiable characters that a generation has ever fallen in love with: Han Solo and Indiana Jones (although there’s a demographic of us who think his role as Deckard in Blade Runner is right up there). For this reason alone, anything he does is fascinating. We’re pretty sure a video of him drinking coffee would go somewhat viral.
That’s why watching him freak out after seeing an amazing card trick by magician David Blaine is damned cool.
Blaine has been stopping by the homes of celebrities to perform illusions for his recent TV special David Blaine: Real or Magic. Most of the reactions of the celebrity participants are pretty good, but Ford’s is hands-down the best.

It is absolutely crazy what Blaine can do. I watched his special on TV on Tuesday. Wow! He blew away a bunch of people!
It’s insane.

I adore Harrison Ford… but this line in your intro to the clip just stopped me cold:
“If you’re anywhere between the ages of 35 and 45 years-old, there’s a good chance that you’ll have a deep connection to Harrison Ford.”
So… you had to be younger than 10 (or just a newborn) when the original Star Wars came out to have a deep personal connection? OMG. From Solo, to Deckard to Indy he defined my generation. 45 to 65 would be a better age range. Better yet… none would have been more appropriate.
Sorry about the rant but more and more I see offhand comments like these that show no sense of time and age. I did it myself once when, after a live performance singing Me & Bobby McGee, I was approached to sing for a retirement community party. I blinked, did the math, and yes indeed they would be rockin’ to Janis and Morrison and The Stones. 🙂

I remember Harry Anderson doing that on Saturday Night Live waaayyy back when. He called it a “GEEK TRICK”. Though Harry added a little blood to his performance

Agreed, I’m 47, about to turn 48. I was 11 when SW came out which I consider to be the perfect age for it! Loved the IJ movies as well but Blade Runner is my favorite. But I guess that can’t all be true because i don’t fit in the age range right?

Lest we forget that Ford is an >actor<. This trick is simply a goof from the begining. Ford is in on it.

It’s a trick. If your cat has kittens in the oven you don’t call them biscuits.
