VIDEO: New CCTV footage of Kenyan mall attackers contradicts official version of events

New CCTV footage broadcast on Kenyan television is casting doubt over the official account of the Westgate Mall siege, which claimed at least 67 lives.

At the time of the attack, the Kenyan government claimed there were 10 to 15 attackers, even including American and British citizens. But the footage shows only four gunman, all who’ve been identified as Abu Baara al-Sudani, Omar Nabhan, Khattab al-Kene and the fourth only as Umayr.

At least two of the men are known members of the Kenyan wing of al-Shabaab, the Somali affiliate of al-Qaeda.

So far, there is no evidence that any of the attackers are of Western origin.

The footage shows the men calmly walking through the mall, apparently searching for targets. All are armed with AK-47s. One of the men appears to have a bloodstain on his trousers.
