Watching Mike Tyson redeem himself has been a fascinating journey.
In Foot Locker’s new Week of Greatness ad, Mike Tyson returns Evander Holyfield’s ear after 16 years, and then we get to see the two former rivals hug it out. Also appearing in the ad is Brett Favre, the quarterback known for repeatedly quitting and returning to football, who finally knows when to walk away.
Another funny bit shows Dennis Rodman getting a one-way ticket to North Korea, although one has to wonder if he was in on the joke.
But Tyson’s appearance is definitely the highlight here. After a life of turmoil and personal tragedy, the man has heroically learned to laugh at himself.
