White nationalist Nick Fuentes: Even my own mother is ‘sort of afraid’ of me

During a recent livestream, white nationalist activist Nick Fuentes revealed that his own mother is afraid of him.

“I was talking to my mom the other day and she was like, she said, ‘I’m sort of afraid of you,’ she’s like, ‘You know because, ever since you were 10 or nine or 10, like I realized I couldn’t control you, because you would just do whatever you wanted and I knew there was nothing I could say. I could ground you and stuff but you were just out of control,” Fuentes said.

“And I was like, hell yeah — that’s right, that’s right! Yeah, you can’t control me,” he continued.

“Yeah, so I survived,” he said. “I was a boy and I became a man. I was a real boy, and I became a real man.”

As the Southern Poverty Law Center points out, Fuentes “uses the slang word “Groypers” to represent his young, almost exclusively white male fanbase. He galvanized crowds of such young men at so-called Stop the Steal events across the country following former President Donald Trump’s loss, where Fuentes and others promoted lies about the 2020 election.”
