With a straight face, Kellyanne Conway says Trump’s best quality is his ‘humility’

If Kellyanne Conway‘s “alternative facts” are welcome anywhere other than Fox News, it’d be at televangelist Pat Robertson’s 700 Club, which is exactly where she ended up this Tuesday.

At the outset of the interview, Robertson asked Conway which characteristic stands out in her mind most about President Trump.

“It’s one that most of the media never associate with him, and I would say it’s humility,” she replied.

“With the gravity and responsibility of being president of the United States and commander in chief of our armed forces. I would say that with that gravity and responsibility has come a great deal of humility,” Conway continued, adding that Trump realizes “people are relying upon him to keep our country safe and prosperous and there is a great deal of humility that attaches to that.”

According to Conway, Trump ran for president because “he saw a greater calling and he accepted that calling and there is no way to [be in the White House] every single day and make decisions that are so weighty and consequential for so many millions of people without feeling a great deal of humility.”
