Witnesses heard George W. Bush say Trump’s inauguration was ‘some weird sh*t’

According to a report from New York Magazine, George W. Bush‘s impression of Donald Trump‘s inauguration was a bit more cynical than his official statement.

Before the event, a statement said the former President and First Lady are “pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power — a hallmark of American democracy — and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence.”

But the report cites three people who were allegedly present and overheard Bush relaying a harsher tone in a spontaneous moment.

According to the witnesses, after the ceremony concluded, Bush said, “That was some weird sh*t.”

Before we start thinking about how cute Bush can be, let’s not forget how horrifically “weird” his presidency was. Weird, in the sense that we’re still picking up the pieces of the worst foreign policy blunder in American history. Making matters worse, the maniac currently in the White House is now responsible for managing the resulting global jihadist insurgency.

But have you seen W’s paintings?
