Woman spends life savings on Powerball tickets, sets up GoFundMe page

A Tennessee woman took the Powerball drawing to the extreme this Wednesday when she spent her entire life savings buying up tickets, but still ended up losing.

Cinnamon Nicole purchase an undisclosed amount of tickets in the hopes of finding the six lucky numbers worth roughly $1.6 billion.

Following her loss, Nicole created a GoFundMe page to get donations to “spend another fortune trying to hit it big again.” However, the crowdfunding site quickly shut down her Powerball reimbursement page because it violated the term’s of agreements.

Nicole’s GoFundMe page read:

Please help me and my family as we have exausted all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash. With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won’t you help a family in need. DONATE NOW.

In exchange for donations, Nicole promised to make people her #MCM (Man Crush Monday) or #WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday).

According to Uproxx, it was reported she reached over $800 before the page was closed down.
