Bill Maher to pro-Trump protester interrupting his show: ‘Make sure he doesn’t have a gun’

A live taping of Real Time with Bill Maher was interrupted tonight by a man yelling at host Bill Maher to “stop trashing our great president and our great country.”

The man spoke up as Maher was having a discussion with his guests, which prompted conservative radio host Buck Sexton to quip, “I do not know him, by the way.”

“I see you brought a guest,” Maher replied as the audience laughed.

As the man continued with his message, Maher wondered what was taking security so long.

“This is not the first time I’ve had to go into the audience, but we’ve got to get faster moving security people, I’m telling you,” Maher said, sounding growingly frustrated.

“I know you’re going to make America great again,” Maher told the man while waiting for him to be removed. “You’ve made your point — I don’t know what it was, but you’ve made your point. And I think your point was that you like Trump, and there are a lot of people who like Trump.”

The HBO host couldn’t resist one final jab.

“Make sure he doesn’t have a gun.”
