In a post to his Facebook page this Thursday, Christian evangelist Franklin Graham called on parents to “wake up” to what their children are being taught in school.
Graham linked to a Daily Wire article that claimed an Atlanta public elementary school principal told a Catholic couple that their child would need to leave the district to avoid learning about LGBTQ+ issues at the age of five.
“Unbelievable,” Graham wrote. “I’ve been saying since 2016 that one of the most important ways we can make a difference is through our school boards. School boards across this country have been taken over by radical progressives who want to stuff the LGBTQ agenda and other ideologies down our throats.”
According to Graham, “Christian men and women” need to run for school boards in order to circumvent children from learning that LGBT people exist.
“It can be done. Pray and get involved,” he concluded.
