Giuliani lashes out at Fox News anchor over tough questions on Ukraine: ‘This is unfair!’

In the wake of a contentious and somewhat embarrassing exchange with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani tried his luck in safer territory over at Fox News this Sunday, but was met by anchor John Roberts with tough questions regarding reports that he asked Ukrainian government officials to investigate 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

At the outset of the Fox interview, Giuliani dismissed his dust-up with Cuomo and said it was “ridiculous” to suggest he went to Ukraine on a “political mission.” According to Giuliana, his trip to Ukraine was meant to look into “Ukrainian collusion” with the Democrats.

“When did this morph into an investigation of Joe Biden and Hunter Biden?” Roberts asked Giuliani. “Is it appropriate for you as a representative of the president to be going to Ukraine and finding dirt on Joe Biden and/or his son to use politically in 2020?”

“That’s the way you characterize it,” Giuliani shot back.

“That’s the way it appears to line up,” Roberts countered.

“No it doesn’t,” Giuliani said. “That’s how the pro-Biden media lines it up.”

As the segment continued and Roberts’ questioning intensified, Giuliana grew increasingly agitated and threatened to walk off the show.

“I won’t answer another question unless you let me finish,” said Giuliani. “This is really unfair.”
