Man who called for ‘extermination’ of Democrats and their families gets slapped with 3-year prison sentence

A New York man who was arrested last year for making a series of threats the year prior in the wake of Joe Biden’s election victory, was sentenced to 36 months in prison on Wednesday for illegally possessing a firearm, Silive.com reports.

Brian Maiorana, 55, called for the “extermination” of Democrats and their families and for the FBI’s headquarters to be bombed. At the time of his arrest on Nov. 10, 2021, police found a semiautomatic Glock pistol, two magazines of .45-caliber ammunition, parts for a .22-caliber firearm and additional ammunition. Also found were a taser, a crossbow, an expandable baton, a skull balaclava, and a copy of the “Anti-Government Movement Guidebook.”

In a post to social media in November of 2020, Maiorana said, “Carnage needs to come in the form of extermination of anyone that claims to be Democrat … as well as their family members.” Days later, he wrote, “The Turner Diaries must come to life. We blow up the FBI building for real. All the alphabet agencies, assassination will become the new normal now.”

Maiorana was convicted in 2007 of felony statutory sexual assault and was banned from owning firearms as a result. He is registered as a level-one sex offender in New York.
