Pro-Trump broadcaster creates a conspiracy theory about his cold: ‘This could be a targeted attack’

During a segment on his show where interviewed QAnon conspiracy theories DeAnna Lorraine, far-right conspiracy theorist Stew Peters wondered if the cold he’s currently nursing is something nefarious.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if this so-called cold, the virus, flu that I have right now was a targeted attack on me,” Peters said. “Do you speculate that some of that might be going on as well?”

“A targeted attack?” Lorraine said, looking confused.

“Yeah. I mean, absolutely,” Peters replied before going into rant about the “Wuhan lab” and “Tony Fauci” and other right-wing talking points about the pandemic.

Lorraine agreed, saying that Republicans and pastors who’ve been outspoken against vaccines “suddenly come down with a bad case of covid and it makes the news … It’s all too suspicious and I absolutely think people are being targeted.”

Well, they’re gonna have to try to harder than this because this thing that I have is weak as hell,” Peters declared.
