Ron DeSantis puts his mask on wrong while encouraging people to go outside

While speaking to the press in Fort Lauderdale at the opening of a new coronavirus testing site this Friday, Florida governor Ron DeSantis said he wants people to go outside while practicing social distancing.

DeSantis wants local governments to enact their own rules for easing lockdown orders while using the Trump administration’s plan as a “baseline” — a plan that leaves most of the decisions up to state governors.

“It doesn’t mean that Florida is going to do every single thing they say or not say,” DeSantis said. “But that is a pretty good baseline. So, you look at different things. What does the workforce look like? Some of these businesses, letting people get back to work. I think that that is something that is very, very important.”

After his remarks, DeSantis had a little bit of trouble putting his mask on properly, and of course it didn’t go unnoticed on Twitter:
