Texas man loses his sh*t after finding ‘fossils from Noah’s Flood’ in his front yard

Wayne Propst of  Tyler, Texas, claims to have found the fossil of an animal that was onboard Noah’s Ark.

“From Noah’s flood to my front yard. How much better can it get?” said Propst in an interview with CBS 19.

Propst was helping his aunt lay some dirt outside her front lawn when he found a “petrified snail.” Propst added. “What’s really interesting to me is we’re talking about the largest catastrophe known to man — the flood that engulfed the entire world.”

After finding the fossil, Propst had it sent to self-proclaimed fossil expert Joe Taylor. Taylor is the director and curator of the evolution-denying Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum. The museum is infamous for thinking that everything in the fossil record is only a couple thousand years old. Taylor “confirmed” the fossil is from the time of the great flood.

“I’ve never heard of anything about that from over there, I’m surprised he found it there,” Taylor said.

After, their hopes were confirmed by Taylor, Propst and his family set to work on the front yard looking for more fossils and sending pictures to Taylor. Seeing as Propst is not a paleontologist, there’s a lot that can go wrong here.

“To think that like he says that we have something in our yard that dated back to when God destroyed the earth. I mean, how much better could anything be?” Propst said.

Is this an example of the blind leading the blind? Maybe Propst will find Noah deep in his lawn one day.
