In a tweet posted to his Twitter account this Thursday night, President Trump announced that he and his wife Melania have tested positive for coronavirus.
“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” he wrote.

Trump and the First Lady previously planned to quarantine after his confidant Hope Hicks tested positive for the virus after traveling with the President several times this week. As CNN points out, Hicks was seen boarding Marine One, along with Jared Kushner, Dan Scavino and Nicholas Luna — none of whom were wearing masks.
The reactions were varied across Twitter:
Assuming there's no shenanigans going on right now that we'll only learn the true story about in six months — he'll probably recover, but "obese 74-year-old male" is not the greatest demographic for COVID

Twitter is full of leftists hoping that our President dies. Think about how insane that is. These people are really sick.
