According to reports, former President Trump is “livid” at what he sees as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s “betrayal” for standing by Liz Cheney (R-WY) and not punishing her for her vote to impeach him. Now, according to POLITICO, Donald Trump Jr. is talking about exacting some political vengeance for his dad.
After Cheney’s Sunday interview on Fox News where she told anchor Chris Wallace that there’s a good chance Trump partook in a “premeditated effort to provoke violence” with his rhetoric in the lead-up, during, and after the Capitol riot, Trump Jr. told POLITICO’s Playbook that he may take a trip to Wyoming to challenge Cheney.
“I hear it’s lovely during primary season,” he said.
