During an appearance on The View this Tuesday, former Trump aide Cassidy Hutchinson was questioned by co-host Whoopi Goldberg about her choices when it came to her political career.
Hutchinson was asked why she stuck with former President Donald Trump, even after the events of Jan. 6.
Hutchinson said that it is a bit “confusing,” but “I did genuinely put a lot of the blame on myself, on the people that had surrounded the president, because I felt that it was our job to advise him, it was our job to stop him from making bad decisions.”
“I felt that loyalty to him still, because I wanted him to be surrounded by good people, and I thought that I could be a decent voice around him,” Hutchinson said.
That’s when Whoopi chimed in.
“Did you not realize you were in a cult? Whoopi asked.
