Woman records ‘terrifying’ man continuously follow her down the street before a good samaritan intervenes

A video recently uploaded to TikTok shows a woman walking on a Los Angeles sidewalk when she noticed that a man was following her, prompting her to take out her cellphone and start recording.

The woman filming, Kyra Pellant, wrote in the video’s captions that she took out her pepper spray when she noticed the man walking faster. She also said that whenever she stopped walking, the man would stop walking, but would act “like he wasn’t.”

She then pointed out a good Samaritan who she called “Joe” who noticed the man was following her. Pellant then asked the man if he was following her, to which he appeared to reply, “Yes.” That’s when Joe stepped in.

When the man noticed that Joe had put himself in between the man and Pellant, he walked off in the other direction.

“TIK TOK help me find ‘Joe’! This was honestly terrifying. If he wasn’t there, I don’t know what I would have done or what would have happened,” Pellant wrote in the post. “My heart was pounding after this interaction and my only focus was to get away so I didn’t find out his name. Decided to post this video to bring awareness to how scary it still is to be a female. LADIES, please boost & send this to another female you love. This was in broad daylight in a big city. Sadly, the world is not safe out there for u.”
