GOP Rep Jason Chaffetz Cannot Provide Examples of Intimidation of Benghazi Witnesses (VIDEO)

Appearing on Fox News this Sunday, GOP Congressman Jason Chaffetz accused the Obama Administration of threatening and intimidating witnesses in regards to last year’s attacks on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya. But when Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace pressed him for examples, he seemed at a loss for words.

In regards to a claim by a witness’s lawyer that whistle-blowers had been prevented from testifying, Chaffetz said that “more than one” witness was “suppressed” by the Obama administration. There is currently no evidence to support Chaffetz’s claim.

It’s been widely reported that Victoria Toensing, the GOP attorney who made the initial claims about witness intimidation, has been disseminating Benghazi conspiracy theories for months, including a November opEd for foxnews.com in which she tried to draw a link between the Benghazi attacks  and the resignation of former CIA director David Petraeus.
