Airport calls cops on Ted Cruz while he argues with airline employees after missing his flight

A police officer was called while Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) got into a heated argument with airline employees at a Montana airport, according to The Daily Mail.

A video posted to Reddit shows the confrontation after Cruz reportedly failed to check in for his flight.

“One of our Public Safety Officers (PSO) was in the ticket lobby and was asked to assist with a frustrated passenger at the United ticket counter (which is not unusual),” Scott Humphrey, a deputy director of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, told The Daily Mail. “The passenger had missed the check-in window for his flight and re-booking options were limited out of Bozeman due to Spring Break.”

The Daily Mail says the user who posted the video claimed Cruz was doing a “do you know who I am”-type rant at the employee.
