Beverly Hills salon owner charged with 7 counts of ‘aiding and abetting’ Capitol riot

A California salon owner who went viral spewing homophobic slurs during an anti-lockdown protest has been indicted on seven counts for her alleged role in the riots that took place at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, according to HuffPost’s Ryan J. Reilly.

The charges against Gina Bisignano include aiding and abetting, obstruction of an official proceeding, civil disorder, destruction of government property, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds, and disorderly conduct in a capitol building.

Bisignano, 52, was arrested by FBI agents on January 15 at her apartment in the 300 block of North Palm Drive in Beverly Hills, California. Bisignano owns Gina’s Eyelashes And Skincare. In the wake of the Capitol riot, she confirmed to the Beverly Hills Courier that she traveled to Washington, D.C., where she found herself among the mob who stormed the Capitol building.
