Fox News’ Chris Wallace: If you lie about the 2020 election, you’re banned from my show

Speaking to The Late Show host Steven Colbert this Wednesday, Fox News anchor Chris Wallace said he’s no longer inviting politicians on his show who claim the 202o election was rigged with voter fraud.

“I have purposefully not had them on, frankly, because I don’t want to hear their crap,” Wallace said, adding that if they ever do come on, he intends to put them “through the ringer.”

Republicans who regurgitate voter fraud conspiracy theories have chosen to “say something they know is not true” to avoid losing out on the Trump voter base, Wallace told Colbert, adding that watching Americans buy into those claims and then riot at the U.S. Capitol was horrendous.

“As I’m sitting there and watching it live on television and seeing this mob coming to the cathedral of our democracy and sitting in the chair that the president of the senate sits in and running around the rotunda, I was sickened,” he said.
