Hacker hacks into Seattle road sign and changes it to read ‘Impeach the bastard’

A hacker broke into an electronic road sign in Seattle and changed the text to read, “Impeach the bastard,” presumably referring to President Trump and the recent news surrounding his infamous July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to Fox Q13, the Seattle Department of Transportation said the sign was hacked early this Wednesday morning. After a few hours, the sign was corrected back to its original message and extra failsafes were put in place to prevent any further hacks.

A driver reportedly saw the sign, snapped a picture, and sent it to Q13 News.

This Tuesday, Democrats launched a formal impeachment inquiry into Trump’s alleged attempt to pressure the Ukrainian President into investigating 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden.
