Kanye West: George Floyd died from a drug overdose and the cop’s knee ‘wasn’t even on his neck’

While sitting down for an interview with rapper N.O.R.E. on the Drink Champs show, Kanye West doubled down on his previous antisemitic comments and threw in some musings about George Floyd to boot, suggesting that former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin wasn’t responsible for Floyd’s death.

West regurgitated claims by his friend and right-wing provocateur Candace Owens, who claims in her new documentary The Greatest Lie Ever Sold that Floyd actually died as a result of a drug overdose and other preexisting conditions — not from Chauvin applying pressure on his neck with his knee for over nine minutes.

“If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” West said, claiming that then Floyd cried out “Momma” during the incident, he was actually referring his “girlfriend.”

West later claimed that he’s not able to say the things he’s saying because “the Jewish media blocked me out.”

West received zero pushback from the show’s hosts.
