Kayleigh McEnany tests positive for coronavirus, calls herself an ‘essential worker’

In a statement posted to her Twitter account, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced that she is the latest Trump administration official to test positive for coronavirus, saying she tested positive on Monday morning and has not experienced any symptoms.

“I definitely had no knowledge of Hope Hicks’ diagnosis prior to holding a White House press briefing on Thursday,” her statement read. “As an essential worker, I have worked diligently to provide needed information to the American people at this time.”

McEnany said she plans to work remotely while quarantining.
