Reporter confronts Christian preacher for buying private jet after getting millions in PPP money

In a recent episode of Inside Edition, reporter Lisa Guerrero confronted Marcus Lamb, who heads one of the largest Christian TV networks in the country, Daystar TV.

According to Guerrero’s report, Daystar TV applied for a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan to pay its employees, receiving nearly $4 million in taxpayer dollars. Guerrero’s investigation found that 2 weeks after being approved for the loan, Lamb purchased a multi-million dollar Gulf Stream-5 private jet.

According to Lamb, he bought the jet with help from “proceeds from an investment” and the sale of their old jet — denying that he used any of the PPP money for the purchase and insisting that the jet is for “ministry purposes.” But Guerrero’s investigation found that Lamb used the jet for multiple vacations with his family and other leisurely trips.
