A new video purportedly released by the hacker group Anonymous is targeting Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, slamming them with scathing criticism.
“You don’t know when it’s appropriate to blurt out your opinions,” a man in a Guy Fawkes mask says in the video, probably referring to West’s antics at the 2015 Grammys. “You always have to steal the moment from others who work equally as hard for their recognition.”
“You’re like a spoiled child in a grown man’s body who is ready to set off a boiling temper tantrum the very moment you don’t get all the things you want.”
Interestingly, the video then turns its focus to Kim Kardashian, slamming for her sex tape and nude champagne photo shoot, saying that it sends the message that there’s “nothing wrong with sacrificing your morality for a little bit of extra income.”
An intro to the video posted on the Youtube page where the video originated reads:
A direct message to our brother, Mr. West, to teach him a lesson on humility, and responsibility, over his out of control, hypocritical, and impulsive actions. Anonymous is sounding off the new Renaissance era this year for humanity, and “we aint finna play with them nooooo more! Because at this point, [we’re tired.”]
I didn’t think Anonymous was in the business of policing people’s personal choices as to whether or not they want pose nude, or film themselves in compromising situations. Sure enough, Anon’s Twitter account fired off a tweet distancing the organization from the video.
Could it be a rogue member who didn’t clear the video with the higher ups first?
