In the wake of Wednesday’s school shooting in Florida which left 17 people dead, lawmakers took to Twitter and expressed their usual condolences, along with their prayers for the victims. While the ‘thoughts and prayers’ trope is usually met with skepticism, one person is choosing to call out these lawmakers by sharing the sums of their individual contributions from the NRA.
Bess Kalb, who is a writer for the late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, meticulously stalked Twitter and reminded the followers of each lawmaker she engaged exactly how much they took from the NRA.
