Technically, there are probably some types of cities left out of artist Benjamin Sack’s A Single Note. But the thing’s 4 foot in diameter and done in impeccable, tiny detail and spans all sorts of history. Amazing.
On his tumblr, Sack attributes his work to “patience and a debilitating love for history and architecture,” which seems about right.
A Single Note spans both time and space to capture the very idea of a “city,” and throws in a few recognizable landmarks for good measure.
