Republican House candidate: ‘Birth control should be illegal’

Speaking on the far-right Catholic show Church Militant, Michigan GOP State House candidate Jacky Eubanks said that she wants the state to ban birth control and said that she would vote in favor of a bill that does just that.

“I guess we have to ask ourselves, would [a bill banning contraception] ever come to a vote,” she told host Michael Voris. “And if it should, I would have to side with, it should not be legal.”

As LGBTQNation points out, Eubanks’s Instagram account brags that she’s “Trump endorsed” and her profile picture is a picture of her with Donald Trump. According to her bio, she’s “America 1st/Anti-Commie.”

“I think that people believe that birth control is pretty… it’s better, like you said, because oh then you won’t get pregnant and you won’t need to have an abortion,” Eubanks said. “But I think that it gives people the false sense of security that they can have consequence-free sex. And that’s not true and it’s not correct.”

“Sex ought to be between one man and one woman in the confines of marriage,” she said.
